Quick start: from sign-in to first order
The shortest path from receiving your owner login to taking your first RestoQR order.
What you need before you start
- Your owner sign-in (email + password) — created when RestoQR onboarded your restaurant, or set by you from the activation email.
- Your menu with prices, and your table layout.
- About 30–60 minutes for a small venue.
The short version
- Sign in to the admin console with your owner account.
- Set your business details — Settings → Outlet: outlet name, phone, GST rate, service charge and the order types you accept. See Business settings.
- Add your menu — Menu →
+ Item. Add categories first, then items with prices. See Add a menu item. - Create your tables — Tables →
+ Add tables. Each table gets a permanent QR code. See Create tables. - Print the QR sheet — Tables →
QR sheet (PDF), print it, and put a code on every table. See Print the QR sheet. - Invite your staff — Staff →
+ Invite, pick a role per person. They get an activation link by email. See Invite a team member. - Take a test order — scan one of your own QR codes, place an order, accept it at the till, and settle it. See How an order flows.
Tip
The full go-live checklist — including payments, inventory and printers — is at Restaurant setup checklist. It remembers what you have ticked off.
