Business settings: GST, service charge and order types
Configure the outlet name, phone, GST rate, service charge, accepted order types and branding in Settings.
Where it lives
Admin console → Settings. The page has five tabs: Branding, Outlet, Review links, Plan, Payments. Settings is an owner screen — other roles see "You don't have access" there.
Outlet tab — what each field does
| Field | What it controls |

| Name | The outlet name staff and guests see |
| Phone | Contact number shown for the outlet |
| GST rate | Applied to every bill (CGST + SGST). Default shown is 5% — set your actual rate |
| Service charge | Optional percentage added to bills |
| Order types | Which of Dine-in / Takeaway / Pickup the till and QR flow offer |
Careful
The GST rate applies from the next bill onwards — it does not rewrite settled bills. Get it right before your first real service.
Branding tab
- Accent colour — drives the guest menu's colour scheme.
- Logo URL — your logo, linked from any image host.
- Receipt footer — the line printed at the bottom of receipts (e.g. "Thank you! Visit again").
Review links and Plan tabs
- Review links — links used by the guest feedback flow. See Guest feedback.
- Plan — shows your current subscription and what it includes. Modules outside the plan show a clear "isn't in this plan" notice rather than disappearing — see Module not in plan.
Verify it worked
- Place a small test order at the till and settle it.
- Open the bill — GST and service charge lines should match your configured rates, and the total should round as shown on the bill.
