Send the invite

   Admin console → Staff → + Invite.

   Enter their Name, Email and pick a Role — the form shows the role's baseline: what that role can access out of the box.

   Optionally fine-tune individual permissions right there (Fine-tune permissions).

   Send — the roster shows them as Invited (amber) until they activate.

They receive an activation link by email and set their own password — you never choose or know anyone's password. Invites are single-use and expire after 72 hours.

Who can invite whom

• Owners can invite any role, including other owners.
• Managers can invite and edit the floor roles (cashier, waiter, kitchen) — never owners, and never billing-level roles beyond their reach. The editor hides what you cannot touch.

After they join

• Cashiers sign in at the POS; waiters, managers and you sign in to the admin console; kitchen staff sign in to the console and land on the KDS (The four screens).
