"…isn't in this plan" (module locked)
A module opens to a plan notice instead of its screen. What it means and who turns it on.
What happened?
A module (e.g. Inventory or Marketing) opens to: *"X isn't in this plan — it is switched off for the restaurant's subscription, not for your role."* The link stays in the sidebar with a small padlock so you can see the module exists.
What it means
- Your role is fine — this is the restaurant's subscription.
- Nothing already entered is deleted. Stock counts, campaigns and data wait patiently; the module reappears the moment the plan includes it.
Why it can happen
The restaurant's current plan does not include that module's feature key. It is a subscription boundary, deliberately kept separate from role permissions so that "who can use it" and "has the restaurant bought it" never get confused.
How to fix it
The owner talks to RestoQR (via Contact support) about moving the plan — a platform operator switches the feature on, and the module is back with its data intact. The notice even names the exact feature key to mention.
What NOT to do
Do not
- Do not try to re-enter data you think was lost — it was not deleted; re-entering after the module returns creates duplicates.
How you know it is fixed
The module opens normally with your previous data present, and the padlock is gone from the sidebar link.
Still not working?
If the plan was confirmed upgraded but the module still shows the notice, ask the owner to confirm the feature key in the message, then contact RestoQR support — it may need a moment to propagate or a second look at the plan.
