The collect queue ("To collect")

Everything owing money, in one queue. Dine-in settles per table; takeaway and pickup settle per order.

Why one queue

Dine-in settles per table, not per order. A party that orders three rounds has three orders and ONE bill — asking a cashier to take three payments is how a table walks out having paid for two of them. Takeaway and pickup stay per order, because each is a different person at the counter.

Settling a table

  1. Open To collect on the till (or Billing → To collect in the admin console).
  2. Pick the table — the sheet shows every round on that table as one amount owed.
  3. Take payment (Take a payment).
  4. Mark the table cleared from the same screen — you are standing at the table, so you are the right person to do it. This is what keeps the floor plan honest.
