"Tenant account is suspended"
Every sign-in fails with the same suspension message — what it means and the only way back.
What happened?
If every account of the restaurant fails with "Tenant account is suspended", the restaurant itself has been suspended at the platform level — staff sign-ins, the till and guest QR ordering all stop.
Why it happens
Suspension is an explicit platform action — typically subscription non-payment or a policy issue. It is never caused by anything your staff did in the app, and nothing is deleted: reactivation restores the restaurant exactly as it was.
How to fix it
- The owner contacts RestoQR via Contact support (or the billing contact on file) and resolves the underlying cause.
- A platform operator reactivates the account — see Suspend or reactivate.
- Sign in again and check the till, a test QR order and the orders board all live up.
What NOT to do
Do not
- Do not create new staff accounts or re-invite people to "get around" it — the suspension is at the restaurant level, so no account will work.
- Do not stop keeping records during the gap — you will need them to reconcile once access returns.
How you know it is fixed
Sign-in works again for staff, the till loads, and a test QR order flows end to end.
Still not working?
If reactivation was confirmed but sign-in still fails with the same message, wait a minute and retry; if it persists, contact RestoQR support again with the exact time of the failed attempt.
While you wait
Service does not have to stop entirely: paper bills and your own payment terminal still work — record everything and enter it once access returns. Keep receipts for the gap so close-out reconciles.
