Suspend or reactivate a restaurant

What suspension does to a restaurant, when to use it, and how to bring them back.

What suspension does

A suspended restaurant is locked out at the API: every sign-in and request for their staff fails with "Tenant account is suspended". Guest QR ordering for their tables also stops. Nothing is deleted — reactivation restores everything exactly as it was.

How to do it

  1. Platform → Restaurants.
  2. The restaurant's row → Suspend (or Reactivate for a suspended one).
  3. The status column updates immediately: active, trial, past_due, suspended or cancelled.

Careful

Suspension is disruptive mid-service — a restaurant in the middle of dinner cannot bill. Reserve it for non-payment or abuse, and tell the owner first when possible.
