Approve or reject QR orders at the till
The approval queue is how QR orders reach the kitchen — accept fires the KOT, reject asks why.
Where approvals live
The counter POS shows a "New orders" queue; when a QR order lands it interrupts full-screen on purpose — a guest is sitting there watching a spinner. Orders can also be accepted from the admin console's Orders page.
Accept
- Check the items and the table on the card.
- Press Accept — the order goes to the kitchen, the KOT prints, and the guest's tracking page updates.
Reject
- Press Reject and type the reason ("Item sold out", "Table closed").
- The reason is audited and shown to the guest, so make it human.
Careful
If the guest already paid online for a rejected order, the payment needs handling — see Duplicate or double payment and, when in doubt, Contact support.
