Onboard a new restaurant

Create a restaurant (tenant) from the platform console, hand the owner their credentials, and track them to go-live.

Who can do this

Only platform operators (the super_admin role). Restaurant owners and staff never see the platform console — signing in with a platform operator account is what opens it.

Create the restaurant

  1. Open the admin console with a platform operator account → you land on Platform.
  2. Platform → Restaurants tab → create a new restaurant.
  3. Fill in: Restaurant name, Owner name, Owner email, Plan, Outlet name, City.
  4. Submit. An owner credentials dialog appears with the fresh login for the owner.

Note

If email delivery is configured, the credentials are also emailed to the owner. If delivery failed, the dialog says so — hand the credentials over directly.

Hand over to the owner

  1. Give the owner their sign-in and point them at Quick start and the setup checklist in this Help Center.
  2. The owner completes settings, menu, tables and staff on their own account.
  3. Payment configuration (Razorpay keys) is done by the owner in Settings → Payments — see Razorpay setup. Keys belong to the restaurant; never enter a restaurant's secret on their behalf over email or chat.

Lost owner credentials

Platform → Restaurants → the restaurant's row → resend owner credentials. Fresh credentials are generated and sent — the old password stops working.
